Science Standards Overview is designed to provide an essential understanding of the structure and components of the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards as an optional prerequisite to other science professional development. This brief course will provide you with an initial understanding of the science standards and the structure of the three-dimensional performance expectations that are vital to student understanding. To gain a deeper understanding of the standards, further professional development, GPS: Introduction to the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards and Three-Dimensional Teaching and Learning is recommended.
